Official Rules and Regulations

EACH WINNER MAY BE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PRIZE FULFILLMENT PROCESS AND SIGN DOCUMENTATION, SUCH AS A RELEASE, WITHIN FIVE (5) BUSINESS DAYS, AS MORE FULLY DETAILED BELOW.
BY ENTERING THE CONTEST YOU AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES, WHICH ARE A CONTRACT, SO READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING. WITHOUT LIMITATION, THIS CONTRACT INCLUDES INDEMNITIES TO THE SPONSOR (DEFINED BELOW) FROM YOU AND A LIMITATION OF YOUR RIGHTS AND REMEDIES.
SPONSOR
The Contest sponsor is HockeyShot Inc. ("HockeyShot") with its head office located at 23 Beverly St. E, St. George, Ontario N0E 1N0. This Contest is also administered by the Sponsor. Any questions, comments, or complaints must be directed to the Sponsor.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for this Contest, an individual must:
(a) Be a legal resident of Canada (excluding Quebec) or the United States (excluding Rhode Island);
(b) Be 18 years of age or older in their province, territory, or state of residence at the time of entry;
(c) Not be an employee, representative, or agent of the Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, related companies, advertising and promotional agencies, or a member of the immediate family (i.e., parents, spouses, siblings, children, grandparents, step-parents, step-children, and step-siblings) or household member of such an employee, representative, or agent.
The Sponsor reserves the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate in the Contest. Failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification.
CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest begins on June 25, 2024 at 12:00 AM Eastern Time ("ET") and ends on June 29, 2024 at 11:59 PM ET (the "Contest Period"), after which time the Contest will be closed and no further entries shall be accepted.
HOW TO ENTER
1. Daily Drill Completion: Each day during the Contest Period, complete the designated daily drill provided by HockeyShot on Instagram.
2. Proof Submission: Post proof of completion of the daily drill on your public Instagram, tagging @HockeyShotStore and using the hashtag #HockeyShotChallenge within 24 hrs for the HockeyShot challenge post. Ensure your account is public for verification purposes.
3. Entry Limits: Limit of one (1) entry per person per day. Each valid proof submission counts as one (1) entry for the daily draw.
Entries will be declared invalid if they are late, illegible, incomplete, damaged, irregular, or mechanically or electronically reproduced.
BONUS SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY
Participants who complete all five (5) daily drills and submit proof as specified will be automatically entered into an additional sweepstakes draw to win a special bonus prize.
PRIZES
1. Daily Prizes: Each day during the Contest Period, one (1) winner will be randomly selected to receive a $150 HockeyShot gift card, redeemable at hockeyshot.com.
2. Bonus Sweepstakes Prize: One (1) winner will be randomly selected from all participants who complete and submit proof of all five (5) daily drills to receive a special prize.
WINNER SELECTION
1. Daily Draws: Each day, one (1) winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received that day.
2. Bonus Sweepstakes Draw:** One (1) winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries who completed all five (5) daily drills.
3. The odds of being selected as a potential winner depend on the number of eligible entries received.
4. Each selected entrant will be notified by direct message on Instagram or Twitter within one (1) business day of the draw. The selected entrant must respond within one (1) business day of notification to claim the prize.
5. Before being declared a winner, each selected entrant shall be required to:
(a) Confirm compliance with these Contest Rules;
(b) Correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question; and
(c) Sign and return the Confirmation and Release form provided by the Sponsor.
RELEASE
Each winner will be required to execute a release and waiver ("Confirmation and Release") that confirms the winner’s:
(a) Eligibility for the Contest and compliance with these Contest Rules;
(b) Acceptance of the prize as offered;
(c) Release of the Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and each of their employees, directors, officers, suppliers, agents, and administrators from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, cost, or expense arising out of participation in the Contest, acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize, or participation in any Contest-related activity.
INDEMNIFICATION BY ENTRANT
By entering the Contest, entrant releases and holds the Sponsor harmless from any and all liability for any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind to the entrant or any other person, including personal injury, death, or property damage, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Contest, any breach of the Contest Rules, or in any prize-related activity. The entrant agrees to fully indemnify the Sponsor from any and all claims by third parties relating to the Contest.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for:
(a) Lost, late, unintelligible/illegible, falsified, damaged, misdirected, or incomplete entries, notifications, responses, or replies;
(b) Any computer, online, software, telephone, hardware, or technical malfunctions;
(c) Any incorrect or inaccurate information;
(d) Any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, or destruction;
(e) Any problems, failures, or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, e-mail, or browsers.
CONDUCT
By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to be bound by the Contest Rules, available online at [Contest Rules URL]. Entrants further agree to be bound by the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
PRIVACY / USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
By participating in the Contest, entrant:
(a) Grants the Sponsor the right to use their name, mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address ("Personal Information") for the purpose of administering the Contest;
(b) Grants the Sponsor the right to use their Personal Information for publicity and promotional purposes relating to the Contest, without further compensation unless prohibited by law;
(c) Acknowledges that the Sponsor may disclose their Personal Information to third-party agents and service providers of the Sponsor in connection with the activities listed above.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All intellectual property, including but not limited to trademarks, trade names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source code, drawings, illustrations, slogans, and representations are owned by the Sponsor and/or its affiliates. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
TERMINATION
The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate the Contest, in whole or in part, and/or modify, amend, or suspend the Contest and/or the Contest Rules in any way, at any time, for any reason without prior notice.
LAW
The Contest is subject to applicable federal, provincial, state, and municipal laws and regulations. The Contest Rules are subject to change without notice to comply with any applicable laws or regulations. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of the Contest Rules or the rights and obligations between the entrant and the Sponsor shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Ontario, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.
CAUTION: Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages or other remedies from any such person(s) responsible for the attempt to the fullest extent permitted by law.
