If you’re a sports family, the garage will often become a storage space with too much equipment laying around until the right season. But what if you’re garage was converted into a synthetic ice training room for round-the-clock skills development? Seriously though- the HockeyShot My Projects team is always working with homeowners on outfitting their garage spaces for next level training.

AAA goalie (and our buddy!) @gillis_31 has been dominating his Extreme Glide Synthetic Ice for over 2 years now. He’s committed to the craft- and thankfully his parents (and siblings) were ready to clear out some of the garage for his development. It was never a question of how much he would like it, it was a question of how much time away from the rink he would have to use it.

Dave Dolecki- coach and owner of @thecreasegoaltendingacademy knew @gillis_31’s passion and eagerness for training, so he recommended they invest in the THICKER Extreme Glide panels at ½” (vs 3/8”) in order to guarantee as much lifespan as possible for the 12 y/o star.

We’ve watched him post vids from morning and evening sessions, during lockdown and thru summer training. The garage set-up is getting tons of use and the game results are showing too (QC PW Intl attendee). Proof is in the pudding…or ice, whatever it may be!
